PACKAGING

Our garment bags are made from Polylactic Acid (PLA) and Polymer Ecoflex®.

PLA is a bioplastic, derived from plant matter like corn starch and sugar cane. Polymer Ecoflex® is a biodegradable and compostable material used to blend with bioplastics, to provide additional strength and resistance.

PLA and Polymer Ecoflex® can breakdown into natural elements in commercially controlled compost facilities. We encourage our customers to do their part and dispose of our garment bags responsibly.

You can compost your Stevie May garment bag in three ways:

1) Direct to a commercial compost facility. Please review our map below for locations in Australia.

2) Direct to a council green bin for redirection to a commercial compost facility. 

3) Request a composting green bin from your local council. To compost at home it's best to cut the bags up and place them in your bin. These will completely break down within 90 days in a compostable environment.
